Getting Closer

Picked up some parts today including a new set of bars. Not sure about the width just yet. Wondering if I went too narrow. Also mocked up the front tire and swapped out the brake pads. Love the new tires but am thinking next time a 19in front rim is in order. BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. New Tires

I just picked up my rims and new Avon tires. I must say I love the old time looks and the tread pattern on this setup. Can't wait to get them on the bike! BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop

Crunch time!

Why do they always look so much cooler when you start to take parts off?
Anyways...I stopped by cycle works today and Jimbo thinks that powder coating the rims would be a bad idea. I think he might be right and so am wondering if powder coating the front forks and not the rims is a bad idea. Any and all comments are welcome.

Only the Beginning...

Stopped by my local hardware store this evening and picked up this sale priced item. There's a fresh layer of powder; and while some cats see this as a time to break out their sleds; I'm beginning to think spring. Only the beginning. Soon to be passenger seat. Passenger pegs before powder coating. New grips purchased 2.5 yrs ago at the sturgis motorcycle rally Keeping' it legal The Tin Sieve in March Inspiration Further inspiration...
